What it does

AI Financial Insights analyses your Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Tax Summary reports using advanced AI. It generates a plain-English summary of your financial performance, highlights positive trends and warnings, calculates key metrics like gross margin and operating margin, flags anomalous expenses or revenue drops, and provides practical recommendations you can act on immediately.

Key actions

• Click the purple "AI Insights" button on any report page
• Review the summary for a quick performance overview
• Check highlights for colour-coded trends (green = positive, amber = warning, blue = info)
• Act on recommendations to improve profitability
• Review anomalies for unexpected spikes or drops

Getting started

Navigate to Reports > Profit & Loss (or any report) and click the "AI Insights" button next to the export options. The analysis takes a few seconds and results are cached for 24 hours. Only aggregated category totals are sent for analysis — never customer names, account numbers, or personal data. Free plans include 5 insights per month; paid plans get unlimited.
